Isla Canela  Par 72 6248 mtrs
A relatively flat course,  Isla Canela winds through gently undulating dunes and is dotted with olive, orange, eucalyptus and palm trees.  Harder than it looks, accuracy is the key here, the challenge coming from the strategically placed water hazards and tricky approach shots to greens which most holes require.  An easy walking course that’ll get you thinking – and beware when the wind blows!

Islantilla  Par 71 5926 mtrs
A 27 hole course which offers the opportunity of playing 3 different 18 hole combinations. Opened in 1992, Islantilla has a lush parkland layout, and lies close enough to the sea to offer fine views over the Atlantic Ocean.  Each of the 9 hole combinations offers a different challenge,  Holes 1 to 9 are hilly with a few blind shots; Holes 10 to 18 are undulating with hanging lies to be expected; Holes 19 to 27 are long but not overly difficult. An interesting and challenging course which offers something for everybody.

Costa Esuri Golf   Par 72 6472 metres
An open, relatively long course with wide, well maintained fairways which allow your shots maximum run!  The course sits on the Guadiana River (the border between Spain and Portugal) and there are some spectacular views of both countries to enjoy.  There’s plenty of variety of holes, as the front 9 has a links feel to it, whereas the back 9 has a parkland design, and despite its length the course is fair to all standards of golfer and is easily walkable.  A popular, good value choice.

El Rompido North Par 72 6095 metres
El Rompido North course opened in June 2006 and has quickly earned a fine reputation as one of the finest courses in Andalucia. Whilst it is still based around the Marismas (marshlands) the course is both longer and wider than its sister, the South course.  The greens have settled well and seem to become trickier the further into your round you get, being well guarded with bunkers. It is a fairly flat course and worth walking to enjoy some great views across the Marismas towards the sea. Allow a 10 minute walk from the caddymaster at the clubhouse to get to the 1st tee.

El Rompido South    Par 72 6148 metres
El Rompido South is situated within the protected natural marsh area of Las Marismas (marshlands) del Rompido and has wonderful views over the Atlantic Ocean.  The front nine holes are relatively open allowing you to ease into the course with a fair degree of risk taking, whereas the back nine is fairly short but tight and if you cannot keep your ball straight it will end up in the Marismas. This attractive  course is easily walkable and offers an enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels.

Castro Marim     Par 72 5774 mtrs
A firm favourite of many of our golfers, Castro Marim runs through undulating hills dotted with pines, and breathtaking views across the River Guadiana to neighbouring Spain.  The course will appeal to all standards of golfer, the challenge being to navigate the narrow, sloping fairways and small, testing, fast greens. A delightful course in beautiful surroundings, and one of the cheapest on the Algarve – great value!  Buggy recommended.

Quinta do Vale      Par 72 6207 metres
The magnificent Seve Ballesteros designed Quinta do Vale course opened in January 2008.  It is situated right on the far edge of the Eastern Algarve, offering great panoramic views across the Guadiana River towards Spain.  This 18 hole championship course consists of 6 par 5’s, 6 par 4’s and 6 par 3’s.  The front nine has strategically placed water hazards on most holes which makes you think twice about club selection. The back nine, however, differs in character, and is a little more open, as it climbs to the highest point of the course from where the views are stunning. An excellent, challenging course offering a wide variety of holes.

Benamor      Par 71 5497 mtrs
Designed by Sir Henry Cotton, Benamor was the first course built east of Faro in the Algarve. An attractive, well maintained course, there are views to the Atlantic and Tavira Island to the south and towards the hills and valleys in the north.   The front 9 is relatively short and tight, affording good scoring opportunities before the course opens up on the back nine, where more water comes into play.   A popular choice for golfers of all standards.

Quinta de Cima       Par 72  6256 mtrs
This sister course to Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima  is a spectacular  course located within the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. There are views of the sea and mountains from anywhere along the course. Many of the holes are dog-legs with their greens are protected by bunkers and water, particularly the last three finishing holes. The main feature of the course is a stream that meanders through the course presenting a hazard from the tees. A great test of golf and enjoyable challenge for most players.

Quinta da Ria        Par 72   6016 mtrs
Quinta da Ria sits in a beautiful location on the coast of the Eastern Algarve next to the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, with stunning views over the Ria Formosa estuary. A beautifully maintained course, the delightful front nine provides a comfortable start, but things start to get more challenging on the back, where the fairways lengthen and water appears, testing your accuracy  and challenging your card as you come to the end of your round of this lovely course.  One of the finest and most popular courses on the Algarve.
