The Yellow Hotel Monte Gordo is ideally located on the beautiful Monte Gordo beach, a 20 km stretch of golden sand and surrounded by pine trees. Monte Gordo, which has a casino, and plenty of shops, bars, restaurants catering for all tastes, is located at the Eastern end of the Algarve, close to the border with the Spanish Costa de la Luz, and hence is away from some of the more overdeveloped holiday resorts in the area.
The attractive Portuguese towns of Tavira and Villa Real de San Antonio are a short drive away, or head inland into the beautiful rugged countryside where you leave behind the Algarve and experience a different country altogether.
