Well we believe that this coastline, from Gibraltar to the Algarve, offers everything and more than you can find in the better known golfing areas such as the Costa del Sol or the Algarve.
As yet, the Costa de la Luz has remained undiscovered by the majority of British golfers. It is comprised of two regions: the Huelva region is nearest to the Algarve and is easily accessible from Faro or Seville Airports, which offer a wide variety of low cost or charter flights. The Cadiz region can be accessed by flights to Jerez, Gibraltar, Seville or Malaga which are also serviced by low cost charter airlines.
The Costa de la Luz offers a variety of high quality, well maintained golf courses which are less crowded than their neighbours on the Algarve, and happily far less expensive. The area itself boasts a beautiful, coastline with vast uncrowded beaches, and a chance to get away from the tourist saturated areas of the Costa del Sol to an area of Spain which still belongs to the Spanish. Seville, perhaps the most beautiful of Spanish cities, and the home of bullfighting, tapas bars and flamenco, is the capital of this region and is easily reachable by car from all of the resorts we feature.
