Kent - Deal
UK Coastal Golf Breaks
Although formerly a famous historic Cinque port, Deal has reinvented itself over the years, and is today a quirky, yet relaxing seaside resort on the North Kent Coast. It's picturesque setting, with an extensive attractive shingle beach, a pier to be proud of, recently voted "Pier of the Year 2008" and pretty town centre of narrow winding streets and interesting shops, restaurants and bars, gives the town it's charming character. Although not as well-known as some as its coastal neighbours, Deal has plenty to offer, and has recently featured in the Telegraph's '10 top spots to lay your beach towel'.
Golf :- Kent’s Regal Golf Coast offers superb quality golf with a selection of excellent courses. The “Regal 5” consists of Royal St George’s (Open championship course), Royal Cinque Ports, Princes (Open Championship & qualifying course), North Foreland & Littlestone. In addition, Walmer & Kingsdown offers great value and a complete contrast with its clifftop setting & stunning views. Royal St. Georges & Royal Cinque Ports are both in the Top 100 golf courses in Gt. Britain & Ireland.
