With seven miles of golden sands and sparkling sea, the vibrant cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth has it all – a vast variety of shops, restaurants and holiday accommodation, buzzing nightlife and endless countryside with beautiful award-winning gardens and water sports galore. It also has some great golf courses in the area and is an ideal town for mid week or weekend golf breaks but you will have to book early to be sure that you can get accommodation, especially in the summer holiday period.
Golf:- If you are staying in the town centre there are some excellent choices for golf all within a fairly short drive. Heathland courses are prominent with Broadstone, Parkstone, Isle of Purbeck & Wareham offering great golf along with fantastic views. The town centre parkland courses of Queens Park and Meyrick Park are both very mature tracks offering challenges to all level of golfer.
