Aberystwyth, Borth and Aberdovey - 3 contrasting Welsh coastal resorts on the mid-Wales coastline which sit in Cardigan Bay. Less well known than its neighbours in the North and South of Wales, this area has some real hidden gems of golf courses, as well as great value accommodation, and plenty to see and do away from the courses.
Aberystwyth is the principal holiday resort on the West Wales coast, as well as being the region's administrative centre and a thriving university town. Borth, 6 miles up the coast, is a much smaller seaside village, which boasts one of Ceredigion's longest and most golden of beaches - stretching over two miles in length to Ynyslas where the Dyfi National Nature Reserve is located with its impressive sand dune system, a pre-season training venue for a number of well-known football teams.
Across the estuary lies Aberdyfi, a thriving little harbour resort which lies in a beautiful setting within the Snowdonia National Park, where the river Dyfi meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay.

Golf :- The links courses of Borth & Ynyslas and Aberdovey offer great challenging golf all the year round. Whilst Aberdovey is in the Top 100 courses in Gt Britain & Ireland, Borth & Ynyslas is a hidden gem being great value to play. The Aberystwyth course is a very different style, set high up on the cliffs above the town with great views across the Bay.
