Opened in 2000, the Riu Atlantico is one of our most popular golf hotels on Spain’s Costa de la Luz, due to its friendly staff, excellent food & great value for golfers. It is also only a 60 min drive from Faro airport.

The hotel is situated on a fine, sandy beach on the beautiful peninsular of Isla Canela and next to the picturesque fishing village of Punta del Moral. The small Marina is only a five minute walk away offering a selection of bars and restaurants. The traditional town of Ayamonte, which is on the border of Spain and Portugal, is only 7km from the hotel which has a real Andalucian feel to it.

On your day off from golf, drive across the River Guadiana to the charming Portuguese town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio with its excellent shopping facilities, or the beautiful Andalucian capital of Seville is approx one and a half hours drive away.
