Real Club de Golf de Seville Golf CourseThe Real Club de Golf de Seville prides itself as being rated one of the best courses in Spain. It was the venue of the 2004 World Cup of Golf - won by the British team of Luke Donald & Paul Casey and has recently held the European Tour 2009 Andalucian Open.

The course was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal and is kept in beautiful condition, being challenging to both amateurs and professionals alike with its wide fairways, numerous bunkers and water hazards. Beware the innocuous looking rough however, harder to get out of than you think! The first par 3 is only 154 metres off of the whites but it is guarded on 3 sides by water and on the other by a bunker. However, the toughest "short holes" are the 7th & 17th, both par 3's over 200 metres from the white tees. On the back 9 there are 3 holes which share a large ox-bow lake protecting either the second shots onto the greens or the tee-shot for the par 4 15th. A great course with a tough 18th to finish with before you join some of Seville’s glitterati for a few drinks and snacks in the clubhouse.
