Benalup Golf course is linked in with the new 5 star Fairplay Golf Hotel and has been open since August 2001.
The course is generally kept in excellent condition with a mixture of waterholes, dog-legs & greenside bunkers that keep you thinking. The opening hole starts with a tee-shot which has water on the left and villas on the right and then has an uphill shot to the green with 5 bunkers masking the entrance. You will see no more villas after the 2nd, only trees, water hazards & great views beyond the course. In clear weather you can easily see the coast of Africa.
This course is a really enjoyable walk (although buggies are available) and great value considering that the green fee of around £60 includes breakfast (continental style) on arrival, drinks whilst playing and a 3 course lunch (with wine/beer/soft drinks) afterwards, in the club restaurant.
