Quinta da Ria is the first of the 2 par 72 courses set in a beautiful location on the coast of the Eastern Algarve.
The course is situated next to the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and although a little shorter than its sister, Quinta de Cima, it is set in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Ria Formosa estuary.
The course is always in great condition and there are some excellently designed holes. The par 4 10th demands a long drive and the further left you can keep it will give you the shortest route over the lake to get to the green. The par 5 16th with lakes on both sides of a narrow fairway, one of which also hugs the green, will particularly test your accuracy as you come to the end of your round of this lovely course.
