Isla Canela
Par 72
6248m,
5937m,
5167m

The most south western course in Spain, only 15 minutes by car from the Portuguese Algarve border.
The course is relatively flat, winding through gentle undulating dunes and is dotted with olive, orange, eucalyptus and palm trees. Water hazards and strategic bunkering call for skillful judgement and precision on the front 9 whilst on the back nine the par 4 14th demands a long straight drive to enable you to get onto an uphill green with a large lake protecting the back of it. The par 5 17th offers a serious challenge towards the end of your round - with the lake running most of the way down the right of its narrow fairway and out of bounds on the left hand side.
Isla Canela is an easy walking course, that is a good challenge to all golfers which is made harder when the wind blows. However it allows fun for all players, has a friendly bar/restaurant and possesses great practice areas.
