Bellavista is Spain's oldest golf club, being formed in 1916 by the British workers who had come across to Spain to work in the Rio Tinto mines. It is unusual in that it is a true members club which is only open to visitors between Monday and Friday.
Located 3kms from the beach this parkland style course is a challenge for all levels of golfers, with its narrow fairways, numerous doglegs and many opportunities to go out-of-bounds. It has a number of lengthy Par 4s and 5s where it is an achievement in itself just to reach their beautifully maintained greens in regulation.
Worth a visit to see one of Spain's traditional courses more similar in style to what we have in the UK.
