The beautiful Arcos Gardens Golf Club opened in autumn 2006 and is described as golf and nature in perfect harmony. The views all around the Arcos site are stunning with the dramatic backdrop of the historic white city of Arcos de la Frontera taking the star turn.
The course isn’t bad either and is a good test of golf for all standards of golfer.It is not a massively long course of the yellow tees and the fairways are fairly generous in size. However, the greens are challenging in their speed & contour and are often well guarded by bunkers. The signature hole (the par 5 16th) has a highly elevated tee which gives you a challenge to try for it in 2. A good straight drive will give you a challenging approach shot and you must beware of the lake which cuts into the green.
In addition to this lovely course there are excellent pre-match practice facilities and a smart bar & restaurant area for those post match discussions
